Hakai Lodge provides the ultimate wilderness fishing experience of a lifetime. We are located in the largest marine park in Canada, approximately 100 miles from the nearest town. This is one of the most beautiful and inaccessible places in the northern hemisphere.
The price for this seclusion is that Hakai can only be reached by private boat or by seaplane, making Hakai a "fly-in salmon fishing lodge". It is this very inaccessiblity which keeps the fishing waters around Hakai from becoming crowded with the swarms of people often found in other fishing locations.
Most of our guests choose seaplane flights to reach Hakai. This can be a scenic and exciting way to begin your fishing adventure at the Lodge. We have worked with the same seaplane airlines for years. They offer daily seaplane service from the Seattle Area (Renton) and from two cities in British Columbia, Vancouver (South Terminal) and Port Hardy.
Our guests make and pay for their reservations directly with one of these airlines:
Northwest Seaplanes (800) 690-0086
Pacific Coastal (800) 663-2872
Northwest flies daily from the Seattle area on DeHaviland Beavers, and Pacific Coastal flies daily from Vancouver, BC and from Port Hardy, BC.
Please bear in mind when contacting the airlines that their rates fluctuate with changing fuel prices and US-Canadian currency exchange rates.
Reminder – Be sure to bring your PASSPORT which is now a requirement when flying across the US-Canada border.
