The 2009 Fishing Season at Hakai Lodge is off to an incredible start!

Hakai Lodge is experiencing its strongest fishing runs in many, many years.

2009 Guests at Hakai Lodge are catching King, Coho, and Halibut in n ear-record numbers! So far we have seen King Salmon up to 45 lbs., Coho up to 18 lbs., and Halibut of all sizes (but none over 150 lbs. yet).

We knew that predictions called for salmon and halibut runs this season to be far above average from the Columbia River to Southeast Alaska. As usual, some areas fare better than others, and Hakai Lodge seems to be in the sweet spot.

It's not too late to fish Hakai Lodge this season - we still have some prime dates available.

While we can't guarantee what the runs will do as the season goes on, so far this is a season not to be missed!
