Air Transportation (prices revised March 7, 2006)

HAKAI LODGE is located in the largest marine park in Canada, approximately 100 miles from the nearest town. Access is entirely by private boat or seaplane.
The HAKAI pass is one of the most beautiful and inaccessible places in the northern hemisphere. Consequently, it is expensive to get there. The continued rise in fuel prices and the changes in currency rates between the United States and Canada have not helped these prices. The GOOD NEWS is that because of the cost and inaccessibility, the crowds of people found in other fishing locations never get to HAKAI. HAKAI is as remote and pristine as it was thousands of years ago. Bite the bullet, pay the price, and come see us for the wilderness fishing experience of a lifetime. Be sure to bring your PASSPORT which is now a requirement when flying across the US-Canada border. We offer daily seaplane service from the Seattle Area (Renton) and from two cities in British Columbia, Vancouver (South Terminal) and Port Hardy areas as follows (in US$):

From SEATTLE area - offered by Northwest Seaplanes 1-800-690-0086:
  • $ 374.50 each way all fees included from July 2 - July 20
  • $ 399.50 each way all fees included from July 21 - August 24
  • $ 374.50 each way all fees included from August 25 - September 5
  • Special price for children under 10 yrs and/or 100 lbs.
